“How Should We Think?”
Romans 6:11-16 (NKJV)

Prov. 23:7, “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he”

1. David’s battle with Goliath…began in his mind (1 Sam. 17:37)
2. Jonathan’s battle with the Philistines…began in his mind (1 Sam. 14:6)
3. Paul’s battle with how to reach the world with the gospel…began in his mind (Acts 19:10)

To live a victoriously life, we think:

A.   By our “Considering” (Rom. 6:11-12)

• What we “acquired” (v. 11a)
• What we “acknowledge” (v. 11b)
• What we “allow” (v. 12)

B.   By our “Choosing” (Rom. 6:13-15)

• “members” and what we’re going to do with them that day (v. 13)
• “mindset” and what our attitude is going to be that day (v. 14)
• “mouths” and what we’re going to say that day (v. 15)

C.   By our “Committing (Rom. 6:16)
