COMFORT

COMFORT
2 Corinthians 1: 3-4 (NKJV)

 God gives comfort not on basis of what we’ve done but who He is!

WE CAN TAKE COMFORT IN KNOWING:

1. GOD SEES WHAT WE’RE GOING THROUGH (Ex. 2: 24-25)

• God sees our “broken heart” (Ps. 34:18)
• God sees our “many tears” (Ps. 56:8)
• God sees our “trials/temptations” (1 Cor. 10:13)
• God sees our “paths/ways” (Prov. 5:21)

2. GOD’S TIMING IS ALWAYS RIGHT (Gal. 6:9)  

When it comes to God’s timing, sometimes:

• It’s conditional (1 Pet. 5:6)
• It’s questionable (Jn. 11:21)
• Always dependable (Ps. 57:2)

3. GOD RESPONDS TO US BY GIVING US HOPE (Rom. 15:13)
